- throughout the day we continued to work on our LEGO robots
- learned more about Action Research and what to expect
- we participated in an "as-if" social event in which we interact with one another as the person we seek to be in two years
- we went off campus to Paradise cove beach and participated in design activities
- individually we had to design/build a sandcastle in 7 minutes with no guidelines
- in our color groups, we had to design our ideal learning environment. I am particularly excited about what the purple group designed. It was called Reality Check and involved going out of your comfort zone to learn life skills, collaborate, and experience environments rather than writing a check instead.
- we ended the night with Paradise Cove restaurant for dinner
The cadre then continued to engage/hangout and get to know each other. I can't believe that it will be over tomorrow (Saturday).
Gotta run...back to the robot!!
